Welcome to Idolarte!

 

Here you will find various objects inspired by prehistoric artifacts found throughout the vast Iberian Peninsula. They are not exact replicas, but all the work is done manually, using a variety of techniques and tools that combine prehistoric and modern technology.

 

The name and logo are inspired by the ocular motif and the "idols" of Late Prehistory found in the Iberian Peninsula on various materials such as bone, ivory, ceramics, and stone, and represented in both portable and parietal art.

 

The aim of this page, in addition to being a vehicle for showcasing our creative and artistic work, will surely be a way to present, from a more educational perspective, the different prehistoric "material cultures" of this geographical area.
